Doug's first fundraiser for RMHC

I have had the privilege and honour to work alongside many of the individuals who directly impact thousands of families who rely on Ronald McDonald Houses and charities in Canada and truly capture the need for and role of RMHC for people across our great nation and in the world. I work for the largest corporate donor for RMHC and, of course with that, have a special link to the charity. Yet, it never really hit me until I toured and volunteered at our local house in Toronto, the impact these houses have on Canadian families in need. Our family has spent enough time, in our minds, in Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto for our little ones; but it pales in comparison, in stress and heartache to what some families go through, especially those who don't live near a Sick Kids hospital like we do. Keeping a family together, focused on what is most important to their child's recovery in those tough times is so very important and thus why I am fundraising for RMHC this year.
