Hynes’ Stroll for Noel

In January 2020, our boy was born with Esophageal Atresia with Tracheoesophageal Fistula (EA/TEF), which required surgery and a 4 week visit to the Janeway Hospital in St John’s - 700 km away from home. The Ronald McDonald house was our refuge. At a time when we needed to focus fully on our baby’s fight to get better, the Ronald McDonald house allowed us to stay only minutes away from our baby, and took care of all of the other details of being away from home. We were able to fill our bellies and rest easy each night after a long day at the hospital. The building itself is beautiful and we were so impressed at what the RMHC staff and volunteers offer to families who are away from their homes, dealing with such difficult situations.
