Maureen's McHappy Day Fundraising

The Ronald McDonald House programme has been part of me since 1985. Now called Ronald McDonald House Charities, the programme has grown in Canada to 15 Houses and countless Family Rooms housed in local regional Hospitals across our Land. As a committed McHappy Day Hero, my goal is to raise funds for the Toronto House and its Family Room Programme at the Markham Stouffville Hospital, supporting the efforts of McDonald's amazing Franchisee Marcie Finlayson and her husband Todd. In my mind they are "RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES # 1 HERO. In November 2017 Marcie and Todd were honoured by Ronald McDonald House Charities International as the first Canadians to receive the Charities highest Award to a McDonald's Franchisee, the Gerry Newman McTLC Award and $100,000 US. They immediately donated this gift to Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto, Canada's largest House supporting 81 Families and 5 Ronald McDonald Family Rooms at local regional Hospitals. Join me in supporting this extraordinary programme that makes such a huge difference in the lives of Families with a Sick Child. How many $328 dollars can we raise (the cost of a one night stay at the House to support Families and their sick children?
