Illness is an event that we usually don't plan for. When a child is ill and needs to be in the hospital, the whole family is put under a lot of pressure and anxiety. In Canada, most children's hospitals are a good distance away from the home communities of these families and to look after the ill child, families are forced by circumstances to take time off work. This might mean a period of economic difficulties for the patients. We as a clinic, recognize that it is important that economic pressure on the family because of a child's illness is ameliorated. We hope you can support us to raise funds to support the wonderful work done by Ronald McDonald Charities in Central Alberta.
