In Loving Memory of Shiela Bishop When Parker was born at just 1.2 pounds, our world stopped. The days were long. The nights were longer. The machines beeped constantly in the NICU at Calgary Foothills, and every ounce gained felt like a miracle. During those uncertain days, Ronald McDonald House in Calgary, AB became more than a place to sleep. It became comfort. It became community. It became a home away from home. Because of Ronald McDonald House, my sister could stay close to Parker — close enough to hold his tiny hand, to whisper hope over him, and to be present for every fragile milestone. Those countless days meant everything. The Ronald McDonald House wasn’t just a charity to her — it was part of her story. Part of Parker’s story. Part of our family’s story. In her memory, we are raising funds to support the very place that supported her. Every dollar will help another family stay close to their family during the hardest days of their lives.
