The Barron Family
Campaign Goal
Supporting Fundraiser Goal
I’m raising $1,000 for Ronald McDonald House Newfoundland & Labrador.
Why we walk for families...We were a family who was afraid to ask or accept the help from the house when we needed it most. Tyson was born at 27 weeks in Edmonton and when asked about the RMH we didn’t know that a home such as this was for us to use. We were working parents, and we fell into the category of “not knowing” which in turn caused many bills to occur for our family, as we stayed in hotels for the next 73 days. In 2016 I took on the role, as the Red Shoe Crew Leader in Placentia so that families in our community see the house as a place for every family, no matter your economic status nor the surgical matter. It is my hope and passion that we can continue to raise money for the RMH, so that more families can avail of the rooms in times of need and that we can continue to build and expand.
