10 Meals for 10 Nights
Campaign Goal
Together we are raising $2,500 for Ronald McDonald House Southwestern Ontario.
It's hard to explain the significance of the doors of Ronald McDonald House. The first time I walked up to them, I was in a fog. I was tired. Desperate. Newly a parent, and worried I wouldn't remain one. The doors of Ronald McDonald House are red arms that pull you in, and hold you. The rooms, and all the things you didn't think to bring cradle your body. And the food. The food so lovingly prepared and generously provided. That nourishes your soul. This February, it will be twelve years since we first walked through the doors at Ronald McDonald House in London. Every year, on our daughter's birthday, we return and we make and serve breakfast to the families currently held in the warm embrace of the House. Every year, we ensure that we give back to the place that held us. This year, because of Covid, we cannot walk through the doors of the house and feed the families there. This year, we need to give back in another way. The House says that it takes $250 to feed the families for one meal. In 2009, we called the House home for ten nights. Please, join us in raising $2500 this February. Thank you, Laura, Dan and Freya
