Most of us never have to worry about a sick child needing hospitalization. I however, have. My son has had multiple surgeries and with our finances, trying to figure out where we were going to stay, how we were going to eat and how we were going to get from the place we were staying to the hospital, was so stressful that it caused fights and friction. It was horrendous! The Ronald McDonald House saved us! They took us in and the other families there helped as well, being able to talk to others in the same position was very beneficial. It allowed us to stay with our son while he was hospitalized. The 14 Ronald McDonald Houses across Canada are close to hospitals and provide a home away from home for families with sick kids. All these reasons are why I am starting this fundraising campaign. Please donate to my campaign and help keep families together in such trying times.
