Birthday - Lisa is 35 😂

We’ve stayed in the RMHC house for one child’s surgery in 2016. On Nov 24 this past month, we had another child’s surgery and were completely blessed by the RMHC family room in McMaster hospital. This charity actually, tangibly helps families like ours. And we want to support & give back. In December 2017, Meghan began her advanced medical journey, culminating in her Aicardi Syndrome diagnosis. On my birthday, her seizures clustered and made it very apparent that the diagnosis would be coming the very next week. The night of my birthday, I sat terrified and emotional in the ER as the doctor told me I could go home...with an actively seizing daughter (infantile spasms). My birthday these past couple years has been emotional, and I have had tearful moments when someone wishes me “happy birthday” remembering my birthday of 2017. This is why I’m creating this fundraiser. I hope my friends and family will join me in making an impact. Giving back to a charity dear to our family’s heart.
