In memory of Curtis McCormick
I’m raising $50,000 for Ronald McDonald House Maritimes.
Ends: December 31, 2021
Dear Family, Friends and Community Members, Our son Curtis was 19 and had just started to attend NSCC for carpentry when he was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma, an extremely aggressive form of cancer. Over an 18 month period, he had multiple surgeries and treatments but sadly he passed away April 5, 2021 at the age of 21. While Curtis was receiving medical care, we came to realize how many expenses are involved for families with children requiring ongoing treatments. For many, it is crippling. In memory of Curtis, we pledge to raise $25,000 in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities Atlantic, in Halifax. Curtis was very tenderhearted and would be very honoured to be part of such a worthy cause. He touched so many lives with his ongoing volunteer work and an excellent example of a caring, hardworking young man. Please join us in helping families through Ronald McDonald House in memory of Curtis. All funds raised will go towards an indoor play structure in memory of Curtis as part of the new house project expected to start this fall. With Gratitude, The McCormick Family *Note: To date, an additional $3965 has been donated to RMHC via website giving. Sincere appreciation to everyone who has contributed in Curtis’ memory on the RMHC website and this fundraising page.
