Goldie's 2nd Birthday

Goldie Bloom Menzel is my cherished niece. We spent 10 golden days kissing, touching, singing, talking, praying, crying, and loving her, and then she went to her true home in heaven. Those 10 days were wild, raw, and so very unplanned. 1000s of BC families are just like us - given limited time to enjoy their precious little ones, or a lengthy road to recovery. The Ronald McDonald House gives moms, dads, big sisters & brothers a clean, warm place of refuge. The expenses add up fast, and there are no hotels close enough to BC Children's Hospital for moms & dads to race to their child's side in the middle of the night.
