Asha spent the first 5 months of her life at McMaster children's hospital. During this time, and through her subsequent admissions, the Ronald Mcdonald House Family Rooms were a place of refuge for us. It was a place we could go to escape the many noises of the NICU, it was a place we could enjoy a hot meal, or a place we could do some laundry when we couldn't go home for days. But most importantly, it was a place that brought a sense of normalcy to our lives. We are forever grateful to the RMHC and to the many volunteers who help make it welcoming place.
