On Wednesday May 10, 2023, McDonald’s Restaurants across Canada will be celebrating McHappy Day, where a portion of proceeds of all products sold will benefit RMHC. In Canada, 65 per cent of families live outside a city with a children's hospital and must travel for treatment if their child is seriously ill. The 16 Ronald McDonald Houses provide out-of-town families with a home to stay at while their child is being treated at a nearby hospital, while the 17 Ronald McDonald Family Rooms provide a comfortable place for families to rest and recharge, right inside hospitals. Our 12 McDonald's Restaurants located in Yorkton, Melville, Melfort, Humboldt, Prince Albert & Saskatoon are working together to support families across Saskatchewan who stay at the Ronald McDonald House in Saskatoon, and visit the Ronald McDonald Family Room in Prince Albert.
