Celebrating Purpose-Driven Partnerships: 2025 Ronald McDonald House Canada Partners in Purpose Award Winners

Ggc Banner Full

At Ronald McDonald House Canada, we know that extraordinary things happen when purpose-driven partners show up - not just for their communities, but in ways that reflect their own values, brands, and people. That’s why we are proud to launch the Partners in Purpose Awards - a new national recognition program celebrating the organizations, teams, and individuals whose commitment helps families stay in their child’s fight. Whether through generosity, advocacy, innovation, or service, these partners bring our national mission to life in ways that are both meaningful and enduring.

This year’s inaugural recipients exemplify what it means to lead with purpose, and we are honoured to celebrate their impact.

Partner of the Year: Cargill Canada

Cargill Canada exemplifies what it means to be a purpose-driven partner. Together with their heartfelt employees from coast to coast, they show up for Ronald McDonald House with dedication and care. Their signature annual FORE! The Houses golf tournaments in London and Winnipeg continue to create moments that inspire, unite, and uplift - and they keep setting new records, raising over $564,000 and enabling 2,277 nights of stay for families in 2024 alone. This year, and as Ronald McDonald’s Houses across Canada continue to experience rising demand for meal programming, they stepped up once again with a gift-in-kind program that will deliver more than $180,000 in annual savings. As a six-year lead sponsor of The Great Games Challenge, and through countless other acts of support both nationally and locally, Cargill Canada continues to champion families in our communities with compassion, creativity, and care. Since 2005, they have contributed more than $7.7 million to Ronald McDonald House across Canada - and so much more through their time, talent, and heart.

Congratulations, Cargill Canada - and thank you for being a true Partner in Purpose.

Impact Campaign of the Year: Moneris – “Good for Small”

Moneris’ Good for Small campaign is a powerful example of storytelling in action. This national initiative honours their local small business partners who are passionate advocates of their communities - and it continues to grow, delivering over $650,000 in grants to Ronald McDonald House Chapters across Canada since 2023. The campaign not only raises awareness, but also sparks meaningful, lasting relationships between small businesses and their local Ronald McDonald House. In Winnipeg, Jenna Rae Cakes delivers birthday cakes to families staying at Ronald McDonald House Manitoba, while in Montreal, Urban LouLou provides pet therapy services to local families - all inspired by their recognition through Good for Small. The campaign reflects Moneris’ values and brand beautifully, and from coast to coast, Moneris employees have rallied behind it, amplifying its reach and impact through their energy and advocacy.

Congratulations, Moneris - and thank you for showing how purpose-driven storytelling can create lasting change.
