I was fortunate enough to be living in Edmonton when the twins were in the NICU after they were born. I can't imagine the added stress of paying for living expenses because 100% hands down I was going to be by their sides. I have had friends who have not had that luxury but the Ronald McDonald House was there for them and a soft place to land.
