Rosie is Turning One!

Rosalie was born at home in Orillia, Ontario on February 23, 2018 with a broken heart. Her family didn’t know she was sick so they were completely unprepared for what was to come. Rosie spent four months at SickKids Hospital waiting for a heart transplant. In total her family was displaced to Toronto for 174 consecutive days. Her mom was there full time while her dad and two siblings came down as often as they could. —— Ronald McDonald House was a lifesaver. A comforting place to call home for over 5 months. Friendly faces, cozy beds, a hot meal, and lots of activities to distract us from the stress of the hospital. We can never truly express our gratitude for this amazing organization. But we want to give back! Help us reach our goal in celebration of Rosie’s first birthday!
