Elisa's birthday wish

My best friend Rosie stayed in the Edmonton home last year. She had gone there to get a lung transplant and stayed for many months after. My mom and I had gone to visit Rosie last august, and we had the chance to see just how amazing everybody was there and how much she enjoyed the home. She had become friends with so many of the other families living there, and it was such a beautiful thing to see. Rosie was the bravest person I knew. She would never complain, and she would always act tough even though she would be going through so much. I looked up to her so much for that. She was truly the most amazing and selfless person out there. Rosie called me on my birthday to let me know it was time for the transplant. That was the scariest day for her and everyone around her, but she did fantastic in surgery and started to recover very quickly. We decided that for this year we would have to celebrate really big, so if you could contribute even the smallest amount, it would mean the world to me and Rosie. Thank you so much!
