“Hair time = Care time” was inspired by my experience volunteering with RMHSWO and seeing firsthand the direct impact they have on parents and children going through some of the hardest moments of their lives. Being able to witness the comfort, support, and sense of normalcy the House provides to families with sick children stayed with me long after my volunteering experience. As a hairstylist, caring for people has always been at the heart of what I do, and this fundraiser felt like a meaningful way to combine my work with a cause that truly matters to me. “Hair time = Care time” is about giving back to families who deserve support, compassion, and connection.

Join me, Meg Boswell, your local hair fairy godmother and learn simple, stress-free hairstyles for your child, while discovering ways to turn hair-doing into a calm, positive bonding experience. As a hairstylist and a mom, I know how important it is to make hair time with our little ones positive and empowering. My workshop aims to bring parents and kids together to learn some hairstyling basics, as well as healthy hair habits - all while building confidence and connection, and having a bit of fun along the way!
