Fin : 7 mai 2026
Wednesday May 6, 2026, McDonald’s Canada celebrates our 32nd McHappy Day event, raising critical funds to help Ronald McDonald House® programs across Canada make a difference for families with sick and injured children. One in four Canadians has either been supported by a Ronald McDonald House program or knows someone who has. Yet today, Ronald McDonald House is unable to support up to four out of five families due to lack of space or no available program location. In 2022, we set a goal to donate more than $70 million by 2026 to Ronald McDonald House across Canada. This commitment helps ensure families are surrounded with the care, support, and resources they need — including meals, mental health and well‑being programs, and a community of support — so they can be at the heart of their child’s care, enabling the best possible health outcomes. Our two locally owned and operated McDonald’s restaurants in Regina—Rochdale and Albert North—are working together to help support Saskatchewan families in need. Ronald McDonald House are doubling their presence in the province by opening two new Ronald McDonald Houses, one in Regina and one in Prince Albert. Meeting the needs of pediatric families across Saskatchewan requires significant financial support from donors at all levels. The total cost of this project is $39.9 million. This includes a one-time capital contribution of $10 million from the Province of Saskatchewan, along with a combined contribution of $7.5 million from Ronald McDonald House Saskatchewan and Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada. The remaining $22 million is being raised through community support. And that is where we need YOUR help! These funds will help establish a 12-room House in Prince Albert and a 20-room House in Regina, ensuring more families have access to vital care and support when they need it most. *All donations above $20 will receive a tax receipt
