Dear Friends, Family, and Colleagues, I’m excited (and proud!) to say that 2025 marks 11 years of fundraising in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Manitoba. Over the past decade, we’ve raised more than $154,000 to help families with children who are ill or injured stay close to the care they need. That support has meant everything to so many — and we’re reaching out once again to ask for your help in making this year another success. The need has never been greater as RMHC Manitoba is now supporting more families than ever before. Since the opening of RMHC Manitoba’s new Ronald McDonald House in September 2022, the organization has supported a record number of families. In 2024 alone, more than 1,600 families from 287 different communities were welcomed into either the House or Family Room programs — receiving over 10,899 nights of accommodation. Even more powerful? Thanks to this support, families avoided more than $3.5 million in out-of-pocket costs — that’s an average savings of $315 per night during incredibly challenging times. Your donation provides more than just a place to stay — it gives peace of mind, warm meals, and the comfort of being close to a family's hospitalized child.
