On Thursday May 8, 2025, McDonald’s Canada celebrates our 31st McHappy Day event, raising critical funds to help Ronald McDonald House Charities® across Canada make a difference for families with sick children. One in four Canadians has either been supported by RMHC or know someone who has. And the need continues to grow. Today, RMHC is unable to support 4 out of 5 families that need its services due to lack of space or no available program location. In 2022, we set a goal to donate over $70 million to RMHC across Canada by 2026 to help grow the number of bedrooms for families across Canada, help RMHC serve more meals, and offer more mental health and wellbeing resources so families can focus on what matters most: caring for their sick child. Last year, thanks to each of you, we raised $8.9 million for RMHC and other local charities across Canada – our biggest McHappy Day to date! We’re confident that we can do even better this year, but we’ll need your help.
