Objectif de la collecte de fonds
Je recueille 500 $ pour Maison Ronald McDonald Alberta.
At five weeks old, our daughter Lois was diagnosed with a heart defect that would require open heart surgery. Lois was born with a large outlet ventricular septal defect that was impacting her ability to grow and thrive as a newborn. At 10 weeks old, Lois had her successful VSD repair on October 22nd 2021 at the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton. We were fortunate to spend this difficult time at the Ronald McDonald House in Edmonton during her surgery and recovery. The staff at the house welcomed us with open arms and made us feel at home immediately. Being able to stay at the RMH saved our family thousands of dollars in hotels and food costs, gave us a place to rest and truly made our experience as stress free as possible. We never expected to have a baby who would need surgery or medical care and are forever grateful for the Ronald McDonald House and all that they do to support the families that stay with them.
