It is official! The third annual Toys for Joy is here to spread joy and hope. The holidays often take a back seat when a child is diagnosed with a serious illness. For most Canadians, specialized pediatric care is unavailable in their home communities. Thousands of families must travel to get the life-saving treatment their children need. Toys for Joy is excited to help lift the spirits of families this season. While staying at an RMHC-SWO program this December, families are invited to visit Holidayland - a very special room! Holidayland is beautifully decorated, and families have the opportunity to choose gifts for one another, for no cost, of course! Together, we will help stock this room with beautiful gift options, help keep the smell of cookies wafting through the room and put some joy in the season for these families.
