Fixin’ Moose’s Melon

When you receive the news something is wrong with your baby, your heart sinks. Nothing can prepare you for all the emotions, questions, concerns you will have. How did this happen? Why? How do we fix it? When? Over the last 11 months we have been blessed to watch our little girl grow and develop into a busy toddler. We know that despite her diagnosis, we are lucky as it is something that can be corrected with just one surgery, other families and children aren’t so lucky. During our brief stay back in September 2017 at Children’s Hospital we were admitted and had used the Ronald Room on the pediatric floor to do laundry, relax, grab a snack and just get away from the hospital room for a while. Coming up this summer we will be admitted again for surgery and staying at the Ronald McDonald house. We want to help support this great charity who provide so much for families in such a time of stress, sadness and worry.
