Adalynn & Ella Burton

Adalynn & Ella were born 6 weeks premature in Oct 2022. The girls were then taken to St Johns by air ambulance and we drove behind! We didn’t know what to expect but the Ronald McDonald house welcomed us with open arms for 21 nights! We weren’t prepared to travel 6hours away from home and be gone that long! My partner was currently off 7 months due to an injury so we were so stressed when we were trying to focus on our babies complications. Corner Brook hospital sent off our referral to RMHNL and we were accepted immediately! When they explained to us that we had a place to go too with a laundry facility, meals, affordable we couldn’t believe it! We met forever friends and we met with volunteers who always checked in on us and asked about our twins! We are grateful for our last minute stay and appreciate everything that is donated to the house, once you stay there you get a better understanding of what they do for families and the RMH will forever support! Thank you for everything! You never imagine having to stay at a RMH until you do,and having everything readily available while being minutes from the hospital was what we were provided! We didn’t have family in the city but we left with family in the city! Thanks RMHNL!
