Fire and Ice Festival 5th Anniversary Saturday, March 7th, 2026 8am - 4pm Lac La Nonne The 5th Annual Fire and Ice Festival returns on March 7, 2026, bringing together our community for a full day of ice fishing, food, and fundraising — all in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). As proud members of the DKI Canada network and National Mission Partners with RMHC, we are committed to supporting families when they need it most. Each year, DKI pledges to donate $250,000 nationally to RMHC, and this event is one of the ways we contribute to that mission. In fact, through the incredible generosity of our participants, sponsors, and volunteers, last year’s Fire and Ice Festival raised $25,000 for RMHC alone. At the heart of the event is our Ice Fishing Tournament, drawing anglers of all levels for a day of friendly competition and community spirit. The festival also features: Friday Night Supper and Sleepover on the Ice Fireworks Show Pancake Breakfast for 200 Guests Poutine and Wing Lunch Prizes Raffle Draw 50/50 Draw Silent Auction Every activity, meal, and moment helps raise funds for families staying with RMHC. Together, we’re making a meaningful difference — and this year, we aim to make the festival our biggest and most impactful yet.
