I am excited to walk for the families of Newfoundland and Labrador again this year. Since joining the RMH family in 2017 I have seen the importance of this house when families are experiencing very challenging times. Hearing from a very anxious Mom that it is the first time she has felt relaxed since her child first became sick I know we need to be here. Hearing a tired dad tell me its the first good sleep he has had in weeks and letting him know a fresh pot of coffee is on. Seeing two siblings run to each other excited to be together again. For these reasons and countless more I know how much Ronald McDonald House is needed for families who have to travel for medical treatment. I'm looking for support to ensure that we continue to offer these comforts to families when they need it the most.
