Northern Ontario Classic Hockey Game
Objectif de la campagne
Ensemble, nous collectons des fonds pour Maison Ronald McDonald Ottawa.
The U13A North Bay Trappers and East Nipissing Vipers are going together to raise money in a charity hockey game, Northern Ontario Classic, for RMHC Ottawa. The inspiration for this cause is the Kmith Family: For over a year, our family lived at the Ronald McDonald house in Ottawa while our daughter Jillian received cancer treatment. It truly is a special place. Families living with a child going through life saving treatment at CHEO can laugh, grow, eat, fall apart, and support each other during these very difficult times. There is no break from treatment, so having a home away from home to celebrate holidays and family tradition is a key to surviving these health challenges. The house is currently under expansion and these funds are very welcome. Hockey has also been a safety net of friends for ourselves and our children; so for this group to choose RMHC as a recipient of funds for our event is a reflection of your kindness and consideration for us and other families in our community who rely on RMHC. I know our kids will grow in compassion and empathy through this event and we are unmeasurably grateful and humbled. The Kmith Family Thanks very much for your contribution!
