Join The Committee and friends for their annual fall fundraiser, at Revival Bar & Event Venue, 783 College St., Toronto, on Saturday December 2nd, 2023. As always, we will enjoy a fabulous night of music, dancing, great prizes, reuniting with friends and making new ones, for a great cause. All proceeds go to Ronald McDonald House Toronto, keeping families of seriously ill children together, and close to the care they need. It’s been 30 years since members of The Committee went to high school together, but the friendships they formed there are still as strong now as they were then, if not more so. When a number of the friends reunited years ago at a funeral, they decided to harness their energy and their relationships for good. Ted Sullivan and five of his friends formed a group called The Committee to organize an annual party for their friends and families, and they turned it into a fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Toronto. “We have friends who have used Ronald McDonald Houses, so when we found out the money from community donations directly supports families, we knew we wanted to help,” says Ted. The Committee hosted its first dance party in 2016, and over the years, they have raised over $150,000! Ted says his friends are motivated by the fact they are making a difference. “We all left in tears when we had our first tour of the House. We know what we are doing is so important and it’s a cause we can feel good about.” The Committee is very proud, and it does our hearts good, to know that the money we raise is utilized for such an amazing cause!!
